About Us
The New England Foundation for Psychoanalysis was founded in 1995 as a 501(c)3 organization in the Boston area.
The New England Foundation for Psychoanalysis is dedicated to promoting the dissemination of psychoanalytic knowledge to benefit the broader community. Its mission is multifaceted, encompassing the encouragement of the integration of psychoanalytic concepts with various educational and therapeutic disciplines that deal with human behavior. The foundation also seeks to foster relationships between psychoanalysts and other academic disciplines, and supports research and training in psychoanalytic theories. In essence, the New England Foundation for Psychoanalysis aims to advance psychoanalytic understanding and its application in various fields, ultimately contributing to the betterment of society.
In line with its mission, the New England Foundation for Psychoanalysis utilizes donated assets to further its objectives. These funds are allocated to a Donor Advised Fund, which is then used to support the foundation's activities, including educational conferences and the dissemination of psychoanalytic knowledge. By doing so, the foundation seeks to engage with a wide range of individuals and organizations, fostering a deeper understanding of psychoanalytic concepts and their relevance to contemporary challenges and issues. Through its mission and activities, the New England Foundation for Psychoanalysis strives to make a significant contribution to the field of psychoanalysis and its application in various aspects of human behavior and society.
